It allows to carry out the tests according to the UIC (or AAR) standards, but also the manufacturers’ specifications, whether they are pneumatic (pressures, leakage tests, brake application time, release time, sensitivity, insensitivity, etc.), or electrical (check of the EP command).
The tests are fully automated, which reduces the risk of errors, and saves considerable time.

The testing time of a brake valve is about 20 minutes, which is very short.
